3.11.2009 BERNESE CALENDAR 2010 We are happy to inform you that we are making BERNI CALENDAR 2010!!! f you want your bernese to be on one of the months send us your high quality photografs in horizontal position of your bernese untill 15.11.2009! Send the most interesting photos of bernese in different times of the year with no disturbing objects on them (cars, other dogs, people...). We suggest that you choose maximum 5 photografs from which our editors will use the best. Send your author photos or photos of other autors with their written permission to our email pilbpp@gmail.com! Also write name of the dog which is on the picture. Price of calendar for PILBPP members is 8,00 EUR, for non-members 10,00 EUR! We are accepting your orders untill 30.11.2009 on mail pilbpp@gmail.com or GSM: 040 437 490 - Avrelija Sivec! 21.7.2009 We decided that we should change our website design a little and that we improved it at the same time. We hope that you like the new version of website. 19.6.2009 New number of magazine of association of PILBPP - BERNIMANIJA came out! We are glad that we can say, that this number of Bernimanija is even better that previous number, per which we are very proud of course. Acknowledgement goes also to our dear members that cooperated at creating this number of Bernimanija. We will be trying also in the future, that we will always be better and that we will always have something new and interesting to offer you. Joyful reading!

13.5.2009 Our second more than successful picnic is behind us. The fellowship of more than 50 members that gathered in Lepena was happy, chatty and relaxed. There was 28 berneses and they all got along fantastically and they proved again with this, that they are all really wonderful brought up and socialised. It was really beautiful to watch them during play and research of gorgeus surroundings of river Soča. Berneses that were on picnic are: Atos, Best, Ema, Charlie, Šajni, Kari, MonCherie, Ruby, Melly, Dolce, Daisy, Dancing Queen, Cezar, Ymir, B52, Monamour, Isis, Iduna, Inja, Mika, Gäa, Jacky, Twinny, Kitana, Tobi, Boj, Dionis, Bejba and cavalier Leo. Thank you all for participation and we'll see each other on next picnic! :)

28.5.2009 Ch. Alpenliebe has achieved great success on CACIB Republic San Marino on 24th May. She won CAC, CACIB and BOS. And she became Ch San Marino. SINCERE CONGRATULATIONS!!!

19.5.2009 We would like to invite you to 2. PICNIC OF ASSOCIATION OF FRIENDS AND LOVERS OF BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOGS. This year we will be gathering on the beautifull picnic place allong the clear Soca river in Lepena 1a, on the 13.6.2009 at 11 o'clock. The price for renting the picnic place, food - jota, trout, grill and salads - and drinks Bring your backpacks filled with happiness, ofcourse a piece of good old home made pastry is always desirable. 12.5.2009 Repeated success of our members! One of our members Frankie Hi Nrg-Mc has achieved in just one week and with only 13 months tremendous success in class of youngs. 3th May - CACIB Lecce - 1st place, exc., BOB Congratulations on all successes!!!

9. and 10.5.2009 Again tremendous weekend for members of association of PILBPP. Some of our members engaged international dog show in Umag. On Saturday our wonderful Riccarron Non Parelli has won CAC, CACIB and BOB and later in final part she occupied 2nd place in II. fci group. Our sincere congratulations to her and her owner Nada Grubišič. Very successful were also brothers Yeah Charlie is Here degli Antichi Mulini and Ymir degli Antichi Mulini, they both won in own class and with this success they finished youth championate of Croatia. Congratulations!!! Carisma has also finished championte of Croatia with title she achieved CAC. Also to her sincere congratulations! On Sunday Ymir degli Antichi Mulini was very successful. He preformed in class of the youngs and he achieved titles Best Junior and Junior BOB, later that day he also achieved BOB and in the final part, he won almost all titles: r.BIS JUNIOR, BOG in r.BIS. Way to go Ymir, congratulations! He achieved such wonderful success with only 17 months! We think that our members proved, that they are really the best and that our association can say that is uniting winners with quality breeding.

22.2.2009 - CAC Celje - Winter Winner Sunday was very succesfull for our members. Our bernese were judged by Janez Plestenjak. Ymir degli Antichi Mulini received PRM in Junior BOB. Dionis was great once again – he become CAC open class, BOB in BOG 3! Congratulations! In champion class Arcan Iago won CAC. Allso we had succesfull females, little Isis has done great on her first show, she won in Baby class with Very Perspective, and was later placed 4-5 in BIS Baby. Conte Veneto Greatexpectations was compeeting in junior class and was placed first with PRM and finished J CH SLO. Congratulations Ema! We had great performance of our members in Junior handling - Nina Bešter was in great 2. place and Dunja Košuta in great 4. place!

http://www.pilbpp.pedigre.net/ We prepared database with goal, that we gather all accessible informations about bernese mountain dogs in range of Slovenia, from the beginning of breeding all to today. You are invited to cooperate: In order to make our database as correct and full of informations it can be, we invite all you owners and breeders of our beautiful breed to cooperate with us, because we wish to unite data about berneses and their litters with their pictures, that is why we are asking you, that you notify us with as much informations about your dogs as you can. We will put your informations in the database and enable overview of breed in range of Slovenia with the key data of genealogical tree, number of puppies in litters of individual breeding bitch or stud dog, their health, assessments about their HD and ED results, lifespans and causes of death. With database we will make a better insight to breed for new owners, breeders will have a better possibility for right choice with breeding combinations, and we hope that will guide breeds to breeding healthy and typical representatives of breed. Newspaper is really unique, because you can find in it many interesting informations, articles and advices. Newspaper is in colour, which enables a lot of beautiful photos of our berneses.
