About us

Association PILBPP ( friends and lovers of Bernese Mountain dogs) gather thogether breeders, handlers, owners and breed lovers from Slovenia and abroad. It is non-profit organization of which main goal is to gather together owners, breeders, handlers and breed lovers, one of main goals is also to promote breed and to increase berneses qualitiy of life.

In association we organise regular meetings of our members, we help with advices and directives over buying a puppy, health, nutritions, shows, training and breeding.

Our association allredy counts nearly 100 members and because our work depends above all upon voluntary work and membership fees, we invite also other owners of bernese mountain dogs to join with us. You will see, that it is in our company, company of friends, very fun and amusing.

By 5th March 2009 we became full members of Cynologic association of Slovenia.

Presentation of president of association Avrelija Sivec 

I was elected on initial assembly for the first president of this newly foundated association. I fallen in love with berneses when I first time saw the picture of bernese mountain dog in magazin Moj Pes (My Dog). In year 2000 we brought to our home our first bernese female Twinny and she beautifying our days till this May. For one year we had only her, because we were never thinking a possability, that we would have two or more dogs. In year 2001 Essy Vom Blautannenhoh joined our family, she was brought from Switzerland. Unfortunately she died in few months after she had her first litter. Poor Twinny is by this undregone serious shock and sadnes as we all felt and we still fell when we talk about her. And that isn't seldon. In end of the year 2004 came Carisma, in year 2005 Reisenshine degli Antichi Mulini, in the begining of year 2007 Mon Cherie Vom Janutal and in this year we kept Charlie, son of our Reisenshine.

I'm taking part in many shows of home and abroad and I entered many contacts with breeders and clubs also outstate of our country. Connetctings inside and outside of our borders are very imortant for breeding our breed.

My plans for the future are connected with our association. I hope that I will guide association so, that members will be happy and that they will get this they long for from this association.
